Guadalmina Location Details
Only a few miles west of the hotspot, Marbella, and just a little further from the Sierra de Ronda mountains, Guadalmina is one of those beautifully secluded and unknown places along the Costa del Sol that both investors and tourists alike prize highly.
There are several beaches in Guadalmina, all of which allow easy access to all sorts of water sports and activities. There is an abundance of waterfront restaurants and bars near the beaches as well as a lifeguard service.
Guadalmina is situated in southeastern Spain on the Mediterranean coastline and gets a lot of sun while still maintaining a mild climate. The area has a lot of historical significance, having been occupied by many different civilizations during Spain's development including the Carthaginians, Romans and Moors. Also nearby are the narrow twisting streets and old houses of San Pedro that are surrounded by groups of trees and mountain flora creating a beautiful historical setting as well as a wonderful vista.
With many excellent hotels and restaurants, Guadalmina, though relatively undiscovered thus far, attracts many people with its quality cuisine and lodging opportunities. Golf is also a notable attraction in Guadalmina, as it has two full length 18-hole courses with an active golf community.
Location of the Guadalmina on the Costa del Sol
Located ideally just a little way southwest of Marbella, a major tourist hotspot on the Costa del Sol, it is also only 10 miles or so from the ancient farming community of Estepona, also on the coast. The closest airport is Malaga at about an hour away.
Very near the updated and well maintained A7 motorway that runs all along the Costa del Sol, Guadalmina is easily accessed from surrounding towns and urbanisations, and it is easy enough to see the entire Mediterranean coastline from Guadalmina just by taking the A7.
